WAGE is a runtime framework that enables any J2ME compliant game or application to run within a remote environment. This container can be one of several things:

• a webpage
• a desktop application
• a Java™ WebStart environment

It is design to work seamlessly with any J2ME compliant application and no changes to the any underlying code is necessary. WAGE can be thought of as a customizable emulator that can be accessible from any Java enabled web browser or environment.
